Academy Graduate Class, Local Government Fiscal Resiliency, Available at MML – Conduit Street Conference
The Maryland Municipal League (MML) Summer Conference will feature a course in Fiscal Resilience as an offering to graduates of the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance.
The Academy for Excellence in Local Governance is a voluntary certificate program for county and municipal officials and offers basic and in-depth courses centered on governance best practices. The Academy Graduate program is a professional development program for those who have obtained the Academy Fellow certificate.
Title: Financial resilience of local governments
The description: The 3.5 hour class will be held Wednesday, June 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Maryland Municipal League Summer Conference in Ocean City. Led by School of Public Policy Assistant Professor Luke Spreen, this course will explore the quantification and assessment of fiscal resilience as well as strategies for managing fiscal challenges.
Date hour : June 15, 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Note: The course is for Academy graduates only and is offered as a special registration option tied to the MML Fall Conference (you can only attend this course, separately from the conference).
Cost: Registration for non-conference attendees is $85 through May 15.
